San Diego, CA - August 22, 2003 -TargeGen, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focusing on the development of small molecule drugs for ischemic diseases and cancer, today announced the appointment of Dr. Forrest Fuller as Director of Business Development.

Dr. Fuller has 20 years of biotech industry experience in scientific and business development capacities. Most recently, Dr, Fuller served as Associate Director of Business Development at Elitra Pharmaceuticals in San Diego. He has previously held positions with Trega Biosciences, NPS Pharmaceuticals and Scios, Inc.

Dr. Fuller earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Utah and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard University.
