In October 2009, TargeGen® completed a Phase 1, multicenter clinical trial of TG101348, an oral, potent, and highly selective inhibitor of JAK2 in patients with myelofibrosis. This study evaluated the safety, tolerability, maximum tolerated dose, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary clinical activity of TG101348. Data from this study will be presented at the American Society of Hematology annual meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, December 5-8, 2009. Phase II studies are expected to begin in Q3 2010.
